Having a great time!

We went to Butterfield Acres on the 31st for their The Great Legendary Easter Hunt, Gábor got right into the spirit of things and was hunting for the painted rocks that would become the Easter Eggs. The farm is such a great place for kids and adults to explore. I had a lot of fun.

A little deceiving with the snow around, but as spring/summer is around the corner - I finally bought my first barbeque!! I love it.

March 16th to the 24th

On the 24th Nancy, Robb and Gábor joined me downtown looking at different art galleries, I'm looking for a piece for my dining room wall. I found a few pieces I liked way out of my budget and some that were in my budget too. I had a really good time, Gábor enjoyed looking at the paintings and everyone loved the way he enjoyed looking at the different pieces - again he was a hit! I stayed for dinner at Nancy and Robb's and helped give Gábor his evening bath - he so loves his baths and splashing around.

Had Friday coffee and lunch at my house on the 16th, I had a really good time with my parents, my sisters and Gábor kept us all entertained.

I finally was able to put the top coat on the stool I made for Gábor for Christmas (really late - I know). I am happy with the way it turned out though.

Chile Night 2

Well with the TAR staying in Chile we had another new recipe night from Chile. Tonight it was "Gratin of Chilean Crab Recipe". Fantastic! This is a recipe to keep, it was very flavourable. Next week it will be a recipe from Argentina.

I went to Micheal's to replace a punch needle that I broke and I ended up getting a kit that I just had to finish and did. Pooh bear is now hanging on my wall at home - a quick weekend stitch.

Way too long since my last post - Part 3

I've done a few craft projects as well, which I will post pictures of soon (I promise!). Christmas and New Year's Eve was fantastic as well. Work is keeping me busy and there are changes there as well (will post as it comes official).

Gabor is absolutely adorable and I love spending time with him (and his parents) - he even blows kisses over the phone when I phone! I love it! He is such a smart child - he even will show you how old he is, when asked, he holds up one finger - too cute! The picture is from Spruce Meadows.

I also attended a wedding from friends of mine, the night was great and I'm very happy for them both. Congratulations again!

As well as a fantastic time celebrating my best friend's birthday - wishing you a fantastic 2007!

Lately I've also been watching my favorite reality shows, with my sister and brother-in-law, and we have decided to cook ethnic meals based on where the TAR visit. Today was Chile food and we prepared "Pastel de Choclo" and "Ensalada Chilena" - both were really good, but I would cut the raisins in half on the "Pastel de Choclo" if I were to make it again, the dish was just a bit much on the sweet side.

This weekend I finally purchased new chairs for my eating/dining area, I like the way they match the table. I will really have to get some art piece for the wall - but hope to get something in the next month or so.

Mayan Riviera Pics

Way too long since my last post - Part 1

Wow - has it ever been a long time since my last update and SO MUCH has happened! I've been on 2 fantastic holidays, one to Disneyland and one to the Mayan Riviera (near Cancun, Mexico), where I even got a henna tattoo. I enjoyed myself on both trips, I hope to continue having great trips like these ones this year.
