Happy Mother's Day!
I spent Mother's Day with Family... and it was a great day indeed...
First, with a Mother's Day lunch following Mass at the Hungarian Church with my Mom and Dad, Nancy, Robb, Gabor, Aniko and Robb's parents. Gabor gave a Mother's Day speech as part of the Hungarian School Mother's Day presentation - he was just way too cute for words (actually all the children did a great job!). And although I'm not a very emotional person - the show brought tears to my eyes...
Then a quick visit at Mom's with Sue and George and then ending the night at Sue and George's to watch the finale of Amazing Race and a movie (a repeat of Terminator Salvation).
Me and and my wonderful Mom!
Me and my sister - another wonderful Mother!
Nancy with her children - Gabor and Aniko...
Gabor saying his portion of the Mother's Day Speech...
"God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers"
Happy Mother's Day to all Mothers!

Nanton Day!!!
Although Kati and Judit were not able to join us - we (Julie, Zsuzsi and I) headed out to Nanton today - what a fantastic day!! With an early start and starting with the biggest of the Nanton shops (where we spent over 2 hours!) we were able to get some great buys - it has been awhile since we visited. I just love looking at all the "antiques" and searching for that special buy (which I did find a few of). It was great fun again to hear the "my mom had/has that!" and "could you imagine using this!??!" and of course "I love it - do you think it would fit here?" or "that ring is SO you!". Of course we hit the candy store and we HAD to try some of the vintage hats...
and Julie tried to figure out Zsuzsi's thoughts (I don't know if she was able to get anywhere - tee hee)....
Among a few other things - below is some of the items I purchased...
I couldn't decide between the two decanters - so I got both!
We finished the evening with a great dinner at Julie and Steve's, with dancing with their children, building towers, making faces and watching the toy lawn mower blow bubbles!
(Zsuzsi was successful with the childhood favorite of "lemon twister").
